Job Description
We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our Acute Services Team as a Senior Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will work within the acute team to provide clinical expertise in the management of acute care patients across various patient caseloads.
The role involves providing safe, timely, compassionate and high-quality person-centered care, as well as leadership and governance to acute care services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient flow and a passion for strategic thinking around demand and long length of stay patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* A recognised degree in occupational therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and significant experience in the provision of occupational therapy services within in acute care
* Demonstrated experience in identifying evidence-based practice and/or developing treatment protocols
* High level organisational and time management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs
* Ability to participate in planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating quality improvement processes
