Electrical Maintenance Technician
The successful candidate will perform maintenance and repairs of automated stacking cranes, Bromma Spreaders, Straddles, yard gate automation systems and other infrastructure as needed.
* Ensure all Electrical work is carried out and exceeds or meets the required standards.
* Undertake planned repairs & refurbishment to required standards, aligned to your qualifications, licenses, and experience.
* Undertake unplanned repairs/tasks in a timely manner to required standards.
* Conduct regular maintenance & servicing.
* Accurate & timely completion of designated job & service records.
* Record machine and service data as required.
* Maintain and record an accurate timesheet of events.
* Operation of Safety 'tag out/lock out' process.
* Risk & hazard assessment associated with allocated tasks.
* Liaise with & assist any specialist contractors or providers engaged by the organization with respect to works, as appropriate.
Cleanliness
* Ensure company vehicles are kept clean and in a tidy condition.
* Ensure the working area is kept in a clean and tidy condition.
* Ensure that tools and equipment supplied by the organization are kept clean and in good condition.
Administration
* Complete all relevant paperwork and software data accurately and in a timely manner.
* Complete Daily tool Box, Crane pre start inspections, shift log, and timesheets.
* Complete, participate in SWMS, take 5's and risk assessments.
Client Relationship
* Represent the organization in a professional manner to meet client expectations.
This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical maintenance and repair, with a focus on safety and quality.
