Job Title: Second Chef
This is a challenging and rewarding role as a Second Chef, working in a care home environment. As a member of the culinary team, you will play a key part in creating nutritious and flavoursome menus for residents.

Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in developing menus that cater to the diverse needs of our residents.
* Work with fresh seasonal produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes.
* Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
* Maintain a warm, efficient and fun environment within the kitchen.
Requirements:
* City & Guilds, NVQ or SVQ qualification (or equivalent) in catering or hospitality.
* Good understanding of nutrition and experience working with fresh seasonal food.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with residents.
* Good grasp of HACCP principles.
