As an experienced Allied Health Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our customers and supporting the growth of our multidisciplinary team.
You will work closely with the Therapy, Education and Support Services Manager, Team Leaders, Executive and Leaders to achieve this goal.
The role involves guiding and supporting the daily operations and ongoing development of a team of committed Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Physiotherapists with varied skills and experience.
Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience as an Allied Health Professional, relevant academic qualifications and at least 2 years prior experience leading Allied Health Professionals with varying skill sets, in the NDIS space.
A strong interpersonal style, ability to build rapport quickly and passion for empowering people to be their best are essential requirements.
A good working knowledge of the NDIS and other funding frameworks, experience delivering services under the NDIS and a strengths-based, family-centred service delivery approach are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and nurture your team with day-to-day service delivery and organisational guidance
* Collaborate with key members of the leadership team and other senior Allied Health Professionals
* Actively participate in the recruitment, induction and development of allied health staff dedicated to our vision and mission
* Manage intake and allocation of clients from the waiting list
* Review, develop and improve upon internal systems and policies
* Ensure team compliance with relevant policies, procedures and standards
* Empower your team around shared objectives in a high-performance culture
* Ensure efficient, cost-effective, timely service delivery in line with billable targets
* Steer organisational changes to help the business evolve and deliver maximum impact for its NDIS participants
* Develop and strengthen relationships with key community stakeholders
* Serve a caseload of clients for equivalent of 2 days of the working week, meeting billable targets
