Responsibilities
* Liaise with the Department Manager regarding supervision of contractors within the Hotel ensuring work is to the standard required by Accor and manufacture specifications.
* Assist with the implementation of strategies for the effective control of all Mechanical Electrical and Hydraulic Services within the Hotel.
* In conjunction with the Department Manager develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimise expenses as well as procedures to improve the overall efficiency of the department.
* Ensure all team members are competent in the safe and effective use of equipment and chemicals in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years experience supervising the maintenance function with supervisory qualifications desirable.
* Trade qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering.
