Programmed Skilled Workforce is seeking Shutdown Trades Assistants for an upcoming shutdown project in Railton, Tasmania.
Project Details
* Location: Railton, TAS
* Start Date: End of May 2026
* Duration: Approximately 6 weeks
* Roster: 12‐hour shifts (day/night shifts may apply)
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting tradespeople with shutdown maintenance tasks
* General labouring duties and site clean‐up
* Use of basic hand and power tools
* Supporting mechanical and maintenance teams as required
* Following all site safety procedures and requirements
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Trades Assistant or in an industrial/shutdown environment (preferred)
* Current White Card (essential)
* Confined Space Ticket (essential)
* Ability to work 12‐hour shifts for the duration of the shutdown
* Must be able to pass a pre‐employment medical including drug & alcohol testing
* Must have own accommodation in or near Railton
* Reliable transport
