The Opportunity
Due to the continued growth of the Company, we have an exciting opportunity for a Storesperson to join the team in our workshop located at Gap Ridge in Karratha. Our busy workshop is home to a team of highly experienced tradespeople, fostering a great team culture and an all-round supportive workplace environment. This role is pivotal to the smooth operation of our workshop, with potential for career development within a rapidly growing organisation.
Role Requirements
* Assist with receipting, issuing, and stock control of parts and inventory to support servicing and repairs
* Complete local parts collections as required
* Reconcile consignment notes and purchase orders while maintaining accurate records
* Load and unload stock and allocate parts within storage areas in line with company guidelines
* Identify and investigate discrepancies between physical and recorded stock levels
* Support stocktaking activities and maintain workshop catalogues and supply registers
* Inspect incoming supplies to ensure correct quantity, quality, and specification
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop and stores area, proactively identifying hazards or defects
* Lead by example in line with company safety expectations and actively participate in hazard reporting and reduction
* Karratha Residents only
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar stores or inventory position
* Current WA Driver's Licence (HR preferred)
* Familiarity with procurement and inventory management systems
* Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement
* Ability to adhere to procedures and work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening in line with company policy
