About the role:

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Speech Pathology Area Manager to join our client's Hobart team. In this agile leadership role, you will work closely with other discipline managers to train, support, and retain a high-performing team—while also maintaining a clinical caseload.

This role encompasses four key leadership areas:

- Staff Performance: Drive accountability to performance metrics, clinical policies, and procedures
- Staff Retention: Foster a positive, inclusive team culture to improve retention and satisfaction
- Staff Development: Guide career and clinical development plans tailored to individual goals
- Clinical Caseload: Maintain a clinical caseload (minimum 21 billable hours per week) and lead by example

What you'll bring:

- Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding billable hour/KPI expectations
- Strong clinical standards and a track record of delivering positive client outcomes
- Proven leadership, coaching, and organisational skills
- Empathetic communication style with a collaborative mindset

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 4 years’ clinical experience in Speech Pathology
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Speech Pathology
- Current SPA Membership
- Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Satisfactory Police Check
- Medicare Provider Number (or ability to obtain)
- Flexibility to travel and work across multiple sites
