Description The opportunity An opportunity has become available for a Transmission Line Estimator in either Milton QLD, Melbourne VIC or Sydney NSW, for Downer’s Energy & Utilities business unit reporting to the Estimating Manager. The Estimator will ensure accurate estimates of the total cost of projects are completed on time and in accordance with required technical and company standards. What you’ll do Ensure tender compliance with all relevant standards, codes, and regulations Provide advice and technical support to enable successful project/business outcomes and delivery To work in liaison with Project Delivery Staff to ensure that proposals are priced in accordance with current operating procedures To ensure compliance with the Downer Standard through tender development, approval, negotiation, and final handover to the Project Delivery Team Develop strategic alliances with suppliers and subcontractors Non-conformances are corrected within prescribed timeframes.
