About the Opportunity
Due to growth of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Support Representative - Mining to join our Emerald team supporting mines in the Bowen Basin.
As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include:
* Provide holistic OEM customer and technical support for our valued mining customers
* Manage an existing network of customers and source new customers to grow our business
* Promoting parts and service sales solutions to achieve company budgeted sales targets
* Working to a customer call cycle and actively building parts & service quotes tailored to customers' needs
* Reporting of activity, prospects, sales opportunities and competitor activity
* Attendance at customer site meetings as required to resolve technical issues
* Provide fluent customer relationship management, and a positive customer experience
To be successful you will need:
* Essential requirements: Trade qualification in a mechanic or electrical discipline
* Technical understanding of earth moving and construction equipment
* Demonstrated success in a similar role
* Be self-motivated and be able to build long term relationships
* Excellent administration, communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to travel as required within your region
* Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical discipline would be advantageous
