We're looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at the newly restored Yack Hotel, right in the heart of beautiful Yackandandah.
A complete reinvention of a beloved regional pub, led by Chef Dale Kemp (Terror Twilight, Tinker Northcote, Convoy Moonee Ponds, Hifi Sandwiches, Ophelia Westgarth) and a tight-knit crew of seasoned Melbourne hospitality professionals
This is a full-time opportunity to be part of a fresh start at a regional pub with a strong community focus, producing high-volume, high-quality classic pub fare with modern touches. Casual positions also available. Our food is honest, seasonal, and built for both locals and visitors to enjoy.
What you'll bring:
* Experience in a busy kitchen, ideally in a similar CDP role
* A strong work ethic and commitment to consistency and quality
* Ability to work across sections, communicate well, and stay calm under pressure
* A passion for good food and pride in what you do
* Availability to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends
