* Location: Sydney-based role
* On-site Requirement: 3-4 days in the office per week
* Why On-site? This is a highly collaborative position involving regular face-to-face workshops and close team interaction, making in-office presence essential.
What's the role?
As an Experience Designer, you'll play a key role in shaping intuitive, seamless experiences that empower customers and staff to achieve their goals effortlessly. Working within cross-functional teams, you'll ensure that every design decision delivers real value and aligns with business objectives while advocating for user needs.
In this role, you'll conduct end-to-end research and prototyping, using insights and data to inform user-centred design across platforms and channels. You'll actively contribute to workshops, evolve our enterprise design system (GEL), and champion best practices for continuous improvement. Collaboration is central—you'll work closely with designers, product owners, business analysts, and delivery teams to create solutions that are practical, innovative, and impactful.
Beyond design delivery, you'll share knowledge within our internal design community, helping uplift capability and foster a culture of learning and innovation. If you're passionate about creating meaningful experiences and driving transformation, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.
What do I need?
* Previous experience in UX or digital product design roles, ideally within large-scale transformations, financial services or other complex industries.
* Experience designing for back-office services or applications is desirable.
* Experience using data and research to inform and measure design decisions.
* Ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the business.
* Commitment to continuous learning, mentorship, and community contribution.
