From 1 November 2025, YouthWorX NT will deliver Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) as the youth specific provider in Darwin and Alice Springs.
We are now seeking a
Team Leader
to oversee this new program. The Team Leader will oversee the effective implementation and delivery of the IEA program across Darwin and Alice Springs, ensuring high-quality coaching, strong employer partnerships, and consistent program outcomes. This leadership role includes supervision of Youth Development Coaches, stakeholder engagement, and accountability for meeting program performance targets.
Based in Darwin, the Team Leader will provide hands-on support, guidance, and mentoring to staff in both locations, requiring regular travel to Alice Springs.
In this role you will:
Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and mentoring to Youth Development Coaches across both sites.
Drive program quality and consistency, ensuring young people receive personalised coaching and employment support.
Monitor caseloads, participant progress, and outcome achievement against program requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, schools, training providers, and community organisations.
Support staff capability through training, coaching, and professional development.
Ensure compliance with program standards, contracts, and organisational policies.
Travel regularly to Alice Springs to provide on-the-ground leadership.
About you:
You are an experienced leader with a passion for empowering young people, particularly those with disability. You thrive on building capable teams, fostering inclusive employer relationships, and delivering strong program outcomes.
Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within youth, employment, disability, or community services.
Strong staff supervision and coaching skills, with the ability to build capability in others.
Proven ability to engage employers and stakeholders to create inclusive employment opportunities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across diverse groups.
Knowledge of disability inclusion, workplace adjustments, and barriers faced by young people.
Strong organisational, compliance, and reporting skills.
NT Ochre Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, and NT Driver's Licence.
