Room Leader Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and passionate early childhood educator to fill a key leadership role in our centre. As a room leader, you will be responsible for creating a warm and nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of our children.
Main Responsibilities:
* To lead a small group of 2-5 year olds in a supportive and stimulating environment, encouraging their social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth.
* To develop and implement engaging programs that cater to the needs and interests of our children, aligning with our educational philosophy.
* To collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and high-quality educational program, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
* To communicate effectively with parents and caregivers through regular updates and reporting, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
Key Requirements:
* A diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification, demonstrating your expertise in childcare and education.
* Proficient communication and documentation skills in English, ensuring clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
* Experience working with children aged 2-5 years, showcasing your ability to connect with and support this age group.
* Computer skills in Microsoft Word, enabling you to efficiently manage administrative tasks and create professional reports.
* The ability to work well in a team situation, valuing collaboration and mutual respect.
* A genuine interest in the field of early childhood as a profession, driving your passion for delivering high-quality care and education.
