Electrical Supervisor Job Opportunity
This is a leadership role that requires the supervision of electrical and instrumentation works across various industrial assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting switchgear, PLCs, SCADA, and other control systems to ensure optimal plant performance.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of fixed plant operations, including conveyors, crushers, wash plants, etc., as well as proven leadership or supervisory experience in mining or heavy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise electrical and instrumentation works across infrastructure and fixed plant equipment.
* Maintain and troubleshoot switchgear, PLCs, SCADA, and other control systems.
* Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards.
* Manage daily work schedules in coordination with planning and production teams.
* Lead by example in the field, mentoring trades and promoting a positive culture.
Requirements:
* QLD Electrical Licence (essential).
* Cert III in Instrumentation (desirable).
* S1, S2, S3 or G2 (essential).
* Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 (or willing to obtain).
* Proven leadership or supervisory experience in mining or heavy industry.
* Strong knowledge of fixed plant operations (conveyors, crushers, wash plants, etc.).
