We are seeking aLiving and Working Services (LWS) Base Operations Managerto oversee and manage our team at theAlbury Wodonga Military Area.
About the Role
TheLWS Base Operations Managerwill oversee and drive operational excellence in hospitality for our Defence Base Services contract in the Albury Wodonga Military Area.
The role includes managing catering, cleaning, accommodation, laundry, fitness centres, pest and vermin control, and transport while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, financial, and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage hospitality service delivery across the Base and associated sites, fostering a high-performance team culture.
Drive operational performance, monitor monthly productivity KPIs, and coordinate integrated services and contract changes.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, financial, and contractual obligations.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement meetings and respond to customer inquiries professionally and promptly.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Facilities Management, Hospitality, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a services contract environment.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and team development skills.
Experience managing financial outcomes and applying contractual obligations to operational delivery.
A commitment to safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police Check.
