Job Title
We are seeking a Mine Geologist to join our team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will contribute to the long-term success of our gold project. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing support to the geology teams as needed.
* Collecting daily production data to inform mine planning.
* Daily face sampling and assisting with other production sampling responsibilities.
* Uploading sampling data to database management software.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in close collaboration with experienced Geologists.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Tertiary qualification in Geology or equivalent.
* Previous student vacation work within the mining industry or previous experience in a site-based role (preferred).
* Basic understanding of 3D mining Software (Leapfrog, SURPAC, DESWIK or equivalent (preferred).
* Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong desire and drive for continuous improvement.
* Strong focus upon Health, Safety and Wellbeing culture essential.
* Western Australian Unencumbered 'C' Class Drivers Licence.
