At NSW Trustee and Guardian, we protect, promote and support the rights, dignity, choices and wishes of our customers. Our team is responsible for delivering commercial services in Will making, as trustee, attorney, and as administrator/executor of deceased estates. We help customers to plan ahead and document their last wishes by providing a fully accredited Will preparation service, writing more than 13,000 Wills, Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship documents each year.
The Wills and Estate Planning team undertakes pre and post-appointment activities to ensure timely and quality service delivery, assists with local community engagement events to boost brand awareness, and maintains a contemporary approach to service delivery through various strategies, including face-to-face and video conferencing. The role involves managing high work outputs and competing demands to generate favourable customer outcomes, while balancing consistency in service delivery across a large geographic area to meet the diverse needs of NSW Trustee and Guardian's customer base.
We are looking for a keen and motivated Consultant to join the Wills and Estates Planning team and help make a difference to our customers. Key accountabilities include:
* Undertaking pre and post-appointment activities to ensure timely and quality service delivery
* Assisting with local community engagement events to boost brand awareness
* Maintaining a contemporary approach to service delivery through various strategies, including face-to-face and video conferencing
The ideal candidate will have a background in legal services, paralegal services, or experience working in a legal environment, and possess strong collaboration skills and the ability to build & develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong negotiation skills are essential in this role to effectively communicate with customers and negotiate agreements that benefit both parties. Additionally, strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to navigate complex situations and find solutions that meet customer needs.

Key qualifications include:
* Current driver licence and ability to travel across NSW as required
* Willingness to obtain accreditation in Will making, Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship documents
* Available to work after hours and weekends as required and in particular circumstances
