TerryWhite Chemmart Palmerston is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern Pharmacist to join our friendly and professional pharmacy team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate pharmacist to complete their internship in a well-established community pharmacy with strong mentorship, structured training and real hands-on experience.
About the Role
As an Intern Pharmacist, you will work under the supervision of experienced pharmacists and preceptors, gaining exposure to all aspects of community pharmacy practice. You’ll develop your clinical, professional and operational skills while delivering high-quality care to our local community.
Key Responsibilities
* Dispense prescriptions accurately under pharmacist supervision
* Provide professional counselling and support to patients
* Assist with the supply of Schedule 2 and 3 medicines
* Support the pharmacist with clinical services (e.g. MedsChecks, clinical interventions)
* Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service
* Maintain compliance with Pharmacy Board, NT and Commonwealth regulations
* Assist with stock control, ordering and dispensary management
* Participate in professional development and complete all internship requirements
* Contribute to a positive, professional team culture
About You
* Provisionally registered (or eligible for provisional registration) with Ahpra
* Committed to completing your Intern Training Program
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patient-focused with a genuine passion for community healthcare
* Organised, reliable and eager to learn
* Able to work well within a team environment
