**The Executive Assistant key responsibilities are**:
- Provide support and advice to the Regional Executive Director on administrative and operational issues as well as in relation to preparation of reports, briefs, memos, submissions and executive correspondence.
- Maintain the Regional Executive Director's diary, including the organisation of meetings, appointments, Conferences/seminars, accommodation and travel arrangements and screen and redirect enquiries to appropriate areas
- Develop, implement and maintain effective administrative systems in the Office of the Regional Executive Director, including systems relating to asset management, financial, human resource, performance reporting and business processes.
- Provide timely, high quality advice and support to the Office of the Regional Executive Director in relation to a range of administrative tasks and activities.
- Process orders and claims for payment, filing, record keeping, organising meetings, travel arrangements and collation of data and information specific to workgroup requirements.
- Provide quality services in word processing, spreadsheet development, Microsoft PowerPoint presentations and data input.
- Contribute to the management of the financial, human and physical resources of the Office of the Regional Executive Director.
- Liaise with clients, members of the public, other Government Departments and departmental staff in relation to inquiries relevant to the Office of the Regional Executive Director.
