Project Engineer Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with stakeholders from design, development, and construction departments to provide necessary construction input and updates.
* Undertake due diligence reviews and communicate findings and implications to relevant stakeholders.
* Analyse design documentation to identify risks and opportunities and ensure effective resolution with relevant stakeholders.
* Develop construction staging and logistic plans, management plans, and methodologies.
* Develop design and construction programmes.
* Develop construction preliminaries and supervision estimates.
* Obtain trade pricing and feedback to assist developing project budgets.
Requirements:
* Tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or equivalent qualification.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong programming and project planning skills.
* Strong problem-solving and time management skills (ability to work across multiple projects at various stages concurrently).
* Well-rounded experience across all project phases (concept to delivery and completion).
* Experience managing the design development process and consultants is beneficial.
* Previous experience working in a similar capacity (2+ years).
