Senior Accounting Position
We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory team in South Australia. The successful candidate will relocate permanently to Adelaide.
About the Role
This is a mid-senior level position within our accounting department, offering personalized service and deep local market knowledge. You will work closely with Managers and Directors to deliver quality accounting advice and foster a high-performing environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Producing financial reports mainly using Xero and MYOB, including maintaining clients' accounting and reporting systems.
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships, as well as BAS for complex clients.
* Preparing budgets, management accounts, and cash flow forecasts across various entity structures and industries, including participating in client meetings.
About You
The ideal candidate will be CA or CPA qualified (or working towards), with relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in a public practice accounting firm. They should demonstrate strong technical accounting skills, the ability to review work, and provide quality solutions. Ideally, they are driven, collaborative, and possess solid taxation knowledge.
The candidate must have the right to live and work in Australia and be willing to relocate permanently to Adelaide.
