We are seeking a motivated Auto Electrician (Qualified or Apprentice) to join a Dandenong South workshop. You will be responsible for the end-to-end installation, maintenance, and diagnostic repair of electrical systems within custom-built commercial vehicles. Key Responsibilities: Custom Installations: Manufacturing accessory looms and fitting off inverters, lighting, and specialised power systems. System Integration: Installing and upgrading electrical components and high-level custom systems. Diagnostics: Identifying and repairing electrical faults across a variety of commercial vehicle platforms. Testing: Utilising diagnostic equipment to perform system troubleshooting and ensure peak performance. Compliance & Safety: Maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and quality control protocols. Documentation: Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used. What We Are Looking For: Experience: Ideally 3 years in a commercial vehicle or manufacturing environment (highly regarded). Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics (or the cognitive ability to learn this quickly under mentorship). Problem Solving: A strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues on your feet. Fast Learner: High cognitive ability to follow procedures and learn new systems in a fast-paced environment.
