Overview
Tip Top Bakeries Springwood is currently seeking applications for a Full Time Amenities Cleaner. Reporting to the Hygiene Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of bathrooms, toilets, and communal facilities at our site. This is a permanent full-time position (x1) with an hourly rate of $27.17. Roster: Tuesday – Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and restocking bathrooms, toilets, and communal facilities
- Emptying bins and removing waste in a secure and hygienic manner
- Mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming floors in amenities areas
- Safely use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness standards in alignment with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
- Complete routine inspections to ensure compliance with workplace cleanliness standards
- Support other departments in ensuring hygiene standards are upheld across the facility
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience cleaning in a food manufacturing site (FMCG) – required 1 year experience
- Chemical handling exposure/knowledge
- Physically fit, able to perform some heavy lifting
- Excellent time management
- Ability to work cohesively in a team and also independently
- Attention to detail
