We are seeking a Research Specialist to join our team in the Engineering Materials Research Centre and the School of Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronics and Biomedical Engineering.
The role involves conducting research on a new iron/steelmaking route with a focus on slag properties and slag-liquid metal reactions at high temperatures.
Responsibilities include planning experiments, analyzing data, supervising students, preparing reports, and communicating results through publications.
To be successful, applicants should have experience in research, sustainability, and metallurgy. Relevant qualifications include a PhD in a relevant field and excellent analytical skills.
