Baker – Yallingup Woodfired Bakery (or similar artisan bakery)
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our artisan bakery team in the beautiful coastal village of Yallingup, in Western Australia's stunning Margaret River region. Nestled among world-class surf beaches, ancient caves, vineyards, and pristine bushland, Yallingup offers an idyllic lifestyle with ocean views, fresh local produce, and a vibrant tourism scene—perfect for someone who loves both craft baking and coastal living.
As our Baker, you will play a key role in producing high-quality, handcrafted breads and pastries daily. Using traditional methods—including our signature woodfired oven—you'll create sourdough loaves, artisan rolls, sweet treats, and seasonal specials that draw locals and visitors alike.

Responsibilities
* Preparing and mixing doughs, shaping loaves, and managing fermentation processes
* Baking in a woodfired oven to achieve perfect crusts and flavours
* Maintaining strict hygiene, food safety, and quality standards
* Assisting with ingredient ordering, stock rotation, and recipe development
* Collaborating with the team to deliver fresh products each morning
* Occasionally helping with front-of-house service during peak tourist periods
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a qualified baker (trade certificate preferred)
* Strong knowledge of sourdough, yeast breads, and pastry techniques
* Ability to work early mornings in a fast-paced environment
* Passion for artisan baking and using local, high-quality ingredients
* Reliability, positive attitude, and great teamwork skills
