Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of materials and components for compliance with customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

* Perform inspections of materials and components using various tools and equipment.
* Enter inspection data into log books and internal database systems in real-time.
* Provide feedback to engineers and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
* Conduct visual inspection of printed circuit board assemblies at various stages of the assembly process following IPC-A-610 standards.
* Coordinate rework and ensure completed products meet specifications.
* Perform first article inspections and process audits as required.
* Conduct customer quality assurance (CQA), in-process, final, and incoming inspections.
* Verify the use of proper routers and ensure adherence to P.O. and drawing requirements.
* Ensure proper staging of products and coordination of processing steps.
* Maintain ESD integrity within the production environment.
* Keep work area clean and organized, ensuring the accuracy of work-in-progress.
* Assist in training new employees and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:

* Education: Associate's Degree in a relevant field (electronic focus) or equivalent experience.
* Experience: 2+ years in inspection in a high-volume, contract-manufacturing environment.
* Certifications: IPC-A-600/610/620 Certification, ESD Training.
