We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our civil infrastructure maintenance services.
This pivotal leadership role is responsible for shaping the future of our city's essential assets and services. You will be responsible for the innovative and effective leadership of the Civil Maintenance portfolio, combining your leadership skills, maintenance knowledge and civil engineering experience.
* Embed a safety-first culture across the maintenance and workshop teams.
* Organise, schedule, prioritise, control, and coordinate the delivery of maintenance for all civil assets throughout the city.
* Oversee the effective operation and continuous improvement of the Council's workshop, including fleet, plant, equipment, and metal fabrication.
* Lead the response to community incidents and liaise with local emergency service agencies and providers.
* Collaborate with the Infrastructure Strategy and Planning Division to enhance the team's expertise in asset condition assessment.
* Implement intelligent defect management for road corridor assets and drive innovation to improve both civil maintenance and workshop functions.
