Ancillary Operator (Dozers, Loaders & Graders)

Permanent full-time role operating an 8/6 or 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region.
Overview
Reporting to the Mining Production Supervisor (Load & Ancillary), the Ancillary Operator works in a hard-rock open-cut mining environment, operating heavy mobile equipment such as Track Dozers, Wheel Loaders and Graders.
The role requires safe, collaborative work to deliver targeted production outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy mobile equipment, primarily Track Dozers, Wheel Loaders and Graders in a hard-rock open-cut mining environment.
Actively contribute to a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
Support all Load and Haul activities in the preparation of drill patterns, clearances of new areas and maintaining all infrastructure such as haul road intersections, waste dumps and ROM pads.
Assist loader operators to load dump trucks maintaining optimal cycle times.
Input production data onto daily production sheets for reporting back to the Mining Production Supervisor.
Maintain expected standards of housekeeping in all work areas.
Conduct machinery pre-starts on your allocated machinery to identify any faults or hazards on the machine.
Operate your allocated machine within the machine specifications and site requirements.
Participate in all training and development opportunities.
Make use of the Fleet Management System appropriate to the machine you are operating.
Work collaboratively with a Can-Do attitude and follow industry best practices.
Assist with undertaking other tasks and operating mobile machinery as required.
About You
Experience with and sound operational understanding of ancillary mining mobile plant: Track Dozers, Wheel Loaders, Graders, Dump Trucks and Water Carts.
Experience operating 200 T+ Excavators in a hard-rock mining production environment is advantageous.
Attention to detail and the ability to focus on ore hygiene to avoid ore contamination.
Experience using fleet management systems, ideally MineStar.
You enjoy being part of a collaborative team and are passionate about achieving goals together.
A flexible approach to work, including operating other machinery and regular hot-seating activities.
The ability to work 12.5-hour shifts, including nights.
A strong focus on safety and best practices within the mining industry.
A current WA Driver's licence: HR preferred.
