Status: Full Time (37.5hrs per week)

Laboratory: Launceston Pathology
About The Role:
* Sorting and distribution of pathology supplies and reports to clients
* Collection and delivery of specimens and samples within the community
* Responsible for professional representation of Launceston Pathology with both internal and external stakeholders
* Driving and liaison role in branded vehicles – driving performance must be exemplary
* Maintain workplace safety and comply with OH&S standards
* Maintain equipment
* Required to cover shifts Monday to Friday, with some weekend and public holiday work expected to meet the operational and organisational requirements.
Selection Criteria:
1. Unrestricted Australian driver's license with an exemplary driving record
2. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
3. Flexibility to cover varying shift times including evenings, weekends and public holidays
4. A pleasant disposition and ability to present in a professional and confident manner with a commitment to service excellence
5. Knowledge of hazardous goods handling and quality control techniques
6. The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment as well as autonomously without direct supervision
7. Good technological knowledge including sound computer literacy skills and competence with a variety of software programs
8. Physically able to carry out the demanding manual elements of this role
9. The ability to live and work in Australia permanently at the time of application
