Membership Services Representative Role
We are seeking an exceptional customer service professional to join our team at a Planet Fitness club. This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance to deliver outstanding member experiences and create a positive atmosphere.
The Membership Services Representative is responsible for greeting and farewelling all members and guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment. They must monitor club access to members and non-members, maintaining a secure and controlled environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering Exceptional Customer Service
- Provide prompt and courteous assistance to members and non-members.
- Resolve member complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Club Operations
- Monitor club access to members and non-members.
- Maintain a secure and controlled environment.
Sales and Administration
- Sell memberships and complete membership agreements.
- Enter new members into the database.
Point-of-Sale Operations
- Operate the Point-of-Sale system.
- Collect any outstanding balances from past due accounts.
A successful Membership Services Representative will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a thorough understanding of customer service principles. They will also require prior customer service experience, Certificate 3 in Fitness (or equivalent), current First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid Working With Children certificate/number or Blue Card.
