Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements;
* Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues including engine problems, transmission issues, and electrical system malfunctions;
* Conducting inspections and tests to identify potential issues before they become major problems;
* Maintaining accurate records of work performed and communicating with customers about their vehicles;
* Collaborating with other technicians to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
* Automotive Certificate III or equivalent qualification;
* At least 5 years of experience working as a qualified mechanic;
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality work on time and within budget;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* A current QLD Drivers Licence, including manual operation.
