Murrin Murrin Operations has an opportunity for a skilled Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter to join our team.
The Role
The successful person will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive breakdown maintenance work in our process plant. Experience is required with a wide variety of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, fixed plant piping, valves, and laser alignment procedures.
Previous experience with sizer screens, mills, thickener tanks and related agitators, as well as with various pumps, is preferred. Experience with HPAL Autoclaves is an advantage for our Ore Leach Area.

This role is suitable for a driven Mechanical Fitter who has worked in a similar hydrometallurgical process plant and is seeking job security and career opportunities.
* Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (essential)
* Valid manual Australian Driver's licence
* Proven experience with centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
* Proven experience with all types of fixed plant piping, valves, and laser alignment
* Experience with sizer screens, mills, thickener tanks and related agitators, and various pumps
* Experience with HPAL Autoclaves (desirable)
* Experience with area permit systems; safe work instructions and hazard identification
* Strong communication skills and excellent troubleshooting and problem‐solving abilities
