We are looking for an experienced and confident Senior Dental Nurse to join our growing, patient-focused dental practice.
This role is ideal for someone who loves dentistry, takes pride in high clinical standards, and enjoys mentoring and supporting the wider team.
About the Role:
As a Senior Dental Nurse, you will play a key leadership role within our clinical team. You will work closely with dentists, junior nurses, and reception staff to ensure smooth daily operations and an exceptional patient experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Being a calm, reliable point of support
* Training and mentoring dental nurses
* Ensuring clinical rooms are maintained of a high standard
* Chairside assistance across a wide range of procedures, including complex and multidisciplinary cases
* High-level infection control and sterilisation management
* Helping maintain stock control and clinical systems
About You:
You are someone who:
* Has 2+ years of experience as a dental nurse and are looking for the next challenge (senior experience preferred)
* Is confident chairside and anticipates the dentist's needs
* Has excellent infection control and organisational skills
* Enjoys leadership, mentoring, and setting high standards
* Communicates clearly with patients and colleagues
* Takes pride in professionalism, teamwork, and patient care
Qualifications:
* Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting
* Radiography qualification (preferred but not essential)
