The HR Driver/Warehouse plays a critical role in Luxcom's operational and project activities, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation, handling, and storage of materials, equipment, and supplies across company sites and facilities. This role requires strong driving ability, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and accuracy in all logistics and warehouse operations. The HR Driver/Warehouse will work closely with the HR, Procurement, and Site teams to support material deliveries, maintain stock records, ensure vehicle and equipment readiness, and contribute to the smooth and timely execution of company and project objectives.
Qualifications & Experience required:
* Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence or equivalent.
* Proven experience in driving and warehouse operations, preferably within the construction or logistics industry.
* Solid understanding of transport and inventory management procedures.
* Ability to operate and maintain vehicles, forklifts, and other material‑handling equipment (forklift licence preferred).
* Knowledge of Australian WHS standards and commitment to safe driving and warehouse practices.
* Physical fitness and stamina to handle loading, unloading, and manual material movement in varied environments.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
* Relevant certifications or licences (e.g., White Card, fatigue management, forklift operation) are highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Transportation & Delivery – Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and equipment between warehouse, office, and project sites in a timely and efficient manner.
* Warehouse Operations – Support daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and issuing materials and supplies according to project requirements.
* Inventory Control – Maintain accurate stock records, assist with inventory checks, and ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and accounted for.
* Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance – Conduct regular vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure vehicles and handling equipment are clean, serviced, and roadworthy.
* Safety & Compliance – Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and road transport regulations to ensure a safe working and driving environment.
* Team Collaboration – Work closely with HR, Procurement, and Site teams to coordinate deliveries, manage logistics, and support smooth material flow across projects.
