We have an opportunity for a hard-working individualto join our Bulwer Island operations as a Labourer (internally know as a Yard Crew member). The site is one of the largest dry mix bagging plants in Southeast Queensland, with constant movement of trucks, people and equipment. You will work as part of a team to perform a variety of tasks in a safety-first environment.
As part of the Yard Crew in our Bulwer Island facility you will perform a wide and interesting range of duties mainly comprising of:
* Vacuum truck operations across site
* Truck loading and unloading
* Operating a range of mobile plant in a safe manner - including forklifts, front end loaders and bobcats
* Perform minor maintenance and upkeep of equipment
* Execute planned work such as Work Orders and Planned Maintenance Requests from the planning department
Roster
This is a Monday to Friday day shift roster working 6:00am - 2:30pm with additional overtime when required due to operational demands.
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in a material and manual handling role within heavy manufacturing industry
* Basic computer knowledge
* Sound mechanical aptitude
* Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence advantageous
* Experience with SAP applications a plus
* Ability to work autonomously and be proactive
* High-Risk Work Licence, Forklift Licence, Bobcat and Front-End Loader Licence, Confined Space ticket, and Working at Heights ticket required
