The Role
You will perform general and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a range of plant machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and productive operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns
- Assist with process improvements and equipment upgrades
- Work with conveyors, pumps, valves, and other machinery
- Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with site policies
- Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams
About You
- Trade qualified with experience as a Maintenance Fitter or similar role
- Hands-on approach with strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience in manufacturing or FMCG industries preferred
- Forklift licence or welding skills are an advantage but not essential
