As a Network Technician, you will provide technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. You'll ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity, assist with provisioning, manage hardware, apply security updates, and resolve network issues for end users. You will also maintain documentation and support both operational and project-based networking activities.
Who are we looking for:
Must have:
* Australian Citizenship
* Class C Driver Licence
* NV1 Security clearance
Technical skills & experience:
* Proven experience supporting LAN, WAN, and wireless environments
* Installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs)
* Experience working across multi-vendor environments (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, HP)
* Strong troubleshooting skills using structured approaches (e.g. OSI model)
* Experience applying security patches, firmware updates, and managing firewall rules
* Knowledge of network monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Nagios, CheckMK)
* Ability to maintain network diagrams, IPAM, and technical documentation
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
* 5+ years' experience in a Network Technician role
* Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA Network+, A+)
