We have all been hired for a purpose and a reason.Every day you will be part of a team that helps support fellow Australians - many working in essential services, corporates, government, and not-for-profits - to take home more money in their pay packets.Do you have what it takes to become a Smartgroup Cyber Security Threat Analyst?Join Smartgroup as a Cyber Security Threat Analyst and play a key role in safeguarding our digital landscape.Your role:Implement and monitor cyber security policies and standards.Conduct internal vulnerability scans and embed them into our development cycle.Assist in incident response and security monitoring.Develop and implement security monitoring use cases and log management.Support and enhance our cyber security strategies.About you:5+ years in threat and risk analysis, cyber security testing, and investigation.Solid knowledge of cyber threat and risk methodologies in theory and practice.Skilled in identifying and defending against new and emerging cyber threats.Clear, concise verbal and written communication.Detailed and critical thinker with strong creative problem-solving skills.Self-driven and proactive.Strong technical, research, and risk analysis abilities.Current knowledge of emerging cyber security threats and standards.Capability to learn and understand a business, its vulnerabilities, and systems in depth.Skilled in application security monitoring and development tools.Experience in Financial Services and Managed Security Services is a plus.Hands-on with DevSecOps and security engineering.Proficient in Microsoft Azure/O365 automation and Qualys.Familiar with log management tools like Splunk and LogRhythm.Belong to an organisation that values diversity, inclusivity, and you:Working at Smart, means you will be working in one of Australia's most authentic, inclusive, and diverse workplaces.Team members enjoy many benefits and 'perks' that genuinely value them for who they are.
