Offer description

- Family-run company with national brand

- Permanent role averaging 30 hours per week.

- Sales order processing, clerical, customer service and some store work.

Agar Cleaning Systems is a well established and highly regarded national supplier of high quality industrial/general cleaning products to all parts of industry including building services, health care, food service and hospitality.

We need an experienced office all-rounder to perform a range of vital duties in our growing QLD branch office/warehouse in Acacia Ridge.

Following a successful trial period, this will be a permanent part time role with a normal starting time of between 8:30 am and 9:00 am and finishing between 3:00 pm and 4:00pm subject to agreement. The final working hours can be discussed during the interview process.

The position is vital to the smooth running of our operation, and includes:

- Taking incoming telephone calls, and assisting with inquiries

- Receiving emails to the state office and ordering address

- Qualifying leads for sales staff

- Serving visiting customers

- Processing customer orders and payments

- Order entry into our ERP system

- Customer credit control

- General office duties

- Secretarial support to our sales team

- Occasionally picking orders in the warehouse

- Occasionally counting stock

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, mature-minded, trustworthy and reliable person who will enjoy helping people and take pride in doing a great job. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

- Ability to deal courteously with people of all backgrounds

- Ability to provide excellent service to customers

- Friendly and professional telephone manner

- Professional and calm demeanour

- Experience in customer service role.

- Accurate numeracy skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Good skills with MS Office software including Word and Excel.

- Excellent organizational skills

- Familiarity with an advanced ERP system will be an advantage but not essential.

- Ability to occasionally lift goods weighing up to 25kg.

A forklift licence would be helpful but is not essential.
