The Manager Product Compliance, is primarily responsible for assisting with
implementation and enhancement of the compliance framework within agri Banking. The objective is to
ensure compliance with legislation, internal and external Policies and Standards and drive awareness and
accountability by embedding compliance in the 1st line of defence of the organisation.
**Tasks include, but are not limited to**: the identification of risks (which includes emerging risks), ensuring that
controls are effective and efficient in both design and operation, advice and training to the business, engagement
with 2nd line Compliance in relation to current regulations, changes to regulations, post implementation reviews of
regulatory change, ensuring incidents and issues have been remediated appropriately and continual
improvement.
The primary responsibility of the role is to perform the role of a Compliance advisor, for the Product and Deposits
part of the business.. The role will assist the business to identify and assess product risks, compliance activities
and regulatory change impact as well as provide SME contribution to regulatory change projects across the bank
