Reporting into the Interlock Customer Program Manager, the Customer Support Representative - Interlock will be based at our Notting Hill office in Melbourne, Victoria and enjoy flexibility, a healthy work-life balance, and have the option of hybrid working.
You will play a key role in handling enquiries from Interlock customers and workshops, and administrative support for the legislative and voluntary Interlock programs.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Respond to all Interlock customer and workshop enquiries, e.g. pricing, troubleshooting, and issuing codes; Liaise with new participants and support their understanding the Interlock program; Manage efficient setting of customer appointment for installation and services; Provide technical support to workshop via phone and remote connection; Support the timely collection of customer debt for up-to-date accounts; Collaborate with and support peers in the Interlock team; Handle and post timely and accurate customer files; Assist with invoicing of all Interlock income streams; Process Interlock Workshop stock orders / returns; Grow and maintain Interlock program knowledge; Share relevant feedback with management; Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and; Always ensure a safety-first approach.
The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes: Successful completion of High School (Year 10 or equivalent); Certificate III in Administration or Customer Service (desirable); Background of working in a similar Customer Service role within a professional office environment; Well versed with quickly building rapport, identifying needs, and handling difficult conversations with customers; Intermediate IT skills with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); Ability to learn our products to provide technical support; Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment; Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn; Exemplary understanding of compliance rules and ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards, and; Excellent attention to detail and customer focus, conflict resolution, problem solving, interpersonal, communication, organisational, and task management skills.
A Police Check will be required for this position.
