It is a requirement for our community roles that all staff possess a reliable vehicle, valid Australian driver licence and be willing to travel throughout the Townsville region visiting clients in their own homes.
About the Role
Our Personal Care Workers provide assistance to our Home Care clients, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their health, happiness, independence, interests and choices.
Responsibilities
Personal care including personal hygiene, grooming and showering
Assistance to continue to live well and positively (e.g. transport to appointments, help at home)
Domestic assistance
Engaging in social activities as required
Travelling to clients' homes across the Townsville region with a reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence
Providing support for clients available Tuesday to Friday starting at 7:00am

Qualifications
Cert III Individual Support or equivalent qualifications and experience
Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc.)
Police Check valid within the last 3 years or willing to obtain
First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain
Queensland driver licence and own reliable vehicle for work use
