This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your knowledge of protein folding, metabolic flux, enzyme kinetics, and molecular genetics directly shapes how AI reasons about life science. No AI background required — your scientific expertise is what matters.

What You'll Do
* Design Advanced Problems: Craft challenging, domain‐specific biochemistry problems spanning nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, structural biology, and drug‐target interactions to rigorously test AI performance.
* Create Gold‐Standard Solutions: Write precise, step‐by‐step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for high‐level scientific reasoning in AI systems.
* Audit AI Outputs: Review AI‐generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and mathematical proofs for technical accuracy, scientific validity, and safety.
* Improve AI Reasoning: Identify flaws in AI logic — such as incorrect stoichiometry, misapplied stereochemistry, or faulty enzyme kinetics — and provide structured feedback that improves model performance.
Who You Are
* Hold a PhD (completed or in final stages) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field
* Have strong foundational expertise in areas such as structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, or bioinformatics
* Can communicate complex biological and chemical concepts clearly and precisely in written form
* Bring a high level of attention to detail when evaluating chemical equations, molecular diagrams, and experimental protocols
* No prior AI experience required — we'll get you up to speed
Nice to Have
* Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
* Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST
