About the role
BSS has upcoming opportunities in Management positions in the new year, the ideal candidates will bring a thoughtful leadership style, strong interpersonal capability, and a commitment to fostering a positive, collaborative and professional work environment.
Key responsibilities
* Providing clear, consistent leadership to support the team, their engagement and professional growth.
* Overseeing operational planning, service delivery, and performance outcomes.
* Strengthening systems, processes and quality improvements.
* Building collegial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Leading change initiatives and contributing to strategic projects.
* Ensuring compliance with clinical governance, risk management and reporting requirements.
About You
We are seeking someone who demonstrates:
* Experience leading teams and/or management roles.
* A minimum of 3-5 years of management experience.
* Strong communication and people skills.
* The ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operational needs.
* Confidence in decision-making and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
* A collaborative style that supports teamwork, innovation and continuous improvement; and most importantly,
* A proven ability to foster a friendly and engaging working environment that ensures teams enjoy their work experience. This should involve creating a safe and supportive environment where employees feel valued and trusted to work autonomously.
Candidates must hold either a Masters or PhD qualification in Psychology.
Current AHPRA registration is required.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
A minimum of 7+ years of psychology experience in organisational or clinical settings is essential.
