GG's Flowers and hampers is no ordinary florist: we are dedicated to supporting people living with disabilities to maintain meaningful lives through employment and social opportunities.

GG's Flowers and Hampers is seeking dedicated full-time and part-time disability support workers who have demonstrated experience and are confident working with participants with complex behaviours. We also are on the hunt for committed casuals. We're looking for the movers and the shakers of the support worker workforce - if that's you - keeping reading

Pre-Requisites:

* You have a minimum of one year of experience as a disability support worker.
* You have a current first aid and CPR, WWVP, a drivers licence and your own comprehensively insured car that you are willing to use to transport participants to and from their homes.
* You have completed the NDIS commissions online training modules (NDIS Worker Orientation Module, NDIS new worker induction module. Supportive Effective Communication and Infection Control training)
* You must have your own smartphone that you are comfortable using
* You can work 38 hours a week (full-time), 30 hours a week (part-time), minimum of 25 hours (casual).
* Must have availability to work evenings (up to 8pm) and some weekend shifts as required.
* You are happy to take part in a pre-employment health assesment (paid by GG's).
* You are happy to have a rest during our shutdown period over the Christmas and New Year period.

* You are committed to ensuring people with a disability lead a meaningful life.
* Your friends and family would describe you as kind, compassionate and genuine.
* You believe in capacity building and not just "doing" for a participant.
* You are able to juggle competing tasks and responsibilities while maintaining professionalism at all times
* You are committed to preserving and advocating for the rights of people living with disabilities to maintaining meaningful employment
* You are able to put your hand up for extra shifts like our monthly games night, monthly social events and monthly staff meeting.
* You are looking for permanent employment that can fit around your life so you can pursue your own passions and commitments, yet have a dependable income coming through.
