**Your new role**
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers from understanding the contract, scope of works and commercial rates to accuracy of billing, customer surveys and business reviews
- Develop and enhance supply chain services to customers focusing on innovation, efficiency, returns, safety, and service excellence such as depth and new business sales of the company core and value added services of Contract Logistics, Courier, Ocean, Air and Customs consultancy to the benefit of the company and its customers.
- Achieve set portfolio and new business growth targets
- Work with our internal teams to streamline reporting processes and implement customer CW1 interfaces
- Delivery on clients reporting requirements - weekly, monthly & QBR's
- Interact with Finance and support the retrieval of outstanding payment for services
- Be the conduit for all non-conformances with the client and work co-operatively with operations to resolve in a timely manner and interact with all service streams of Warehousing, Import, Export, Compliance, Customer service, Pricing and Transport departments to ensure resolution
- Lead cross-function teams for customer based projects
- Actively participate in the process of winning new business by working with Product Managers and Sales teams
- Responsible for the implementation & growth of new business accounts won by the Sales department
- Develop and maintain an Account Development Plan and strategy.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Min 3-5 years experience in international Freight Forwarding including Import & Export Freight Operations (Orders, chasing/checking docs for clearance, invoicing, booking transport)
- CargoWise EDI experience required
- A tenacious and resilient personality
- Ability to think laterally and problem solve
- Knowledge of Australian Customs and Quarantine procedures
- High attention to detail in your work
- Fantastic communication and organizational skills
- Thrive working in a busy office and feel comfortable speaking to customers both internally and externally
- Able to build relationships and be the first point of contact for your portfolio of clients on a regular basis
- Hard working attitude
