Our team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef to lead kitchen operations at our facility located in beautiful Tenterfield, NSW. This is a casual contract position with possibility to go permanent offering the chance to combine your culinary expertise with leadership responsibilities in a supportive environment.
About the Role
* As a Senior Chef you will be responsible for the overall management of kitchen services, ensuring high-quality, nutritious meals are delivered daily while maintaining compliance with food safety standards.
* You will oversee all aspects of kitchen and meal service operations, prepare and present fresh, well-balanced meals tailored to client needs, manage kitchen staff, rosters, ordering, and inventory control.
* Develop and maintain menus in line with dietary guidelines and preferences, ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations, collaborate with management and other departments to maintain a high standard of service.
About You
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a healthcare, aged care, or clinical setting, relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (Cert III or above).
* Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, strong understanding of dietary needs, allergies, and food safety protocols, excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
