Our client is a successful commercial contractor delivering high end products across Melbourne/ Victoria. The Melbourne office has had exceptionally strong growth over recent years and an opportunity for an experienced HSE Manager to join the Senior Management team is currently available.
As a Health Safety and Environment and Quality Manager you will have gained significant experience and exposure to working within a commercial contractor with a preference to experience developed here in the Victorian Market. This role would ideally suit someone looking to step into a senior level HSEQ role and help with the implementation of the company vision and Federal Accreditations.
Candidates are sought with a minimum 8 years' experience working for a principle contractor. In your role of HSEQ Manager you will provide effective implementation and advice on the development on HSEQ programmes and management systems in conjunction with their current systems. You will coordinate effective implementation of Safety plans on site and support the implementation of risk assessment process. Individuals are sought who are capable and driven to improve the OHS System and you will be required to liaise with Government Authorities, and represent the company in Industry related OHS training, seminars etc.
You will also be involved in Safety Audits for the company and ensure all necessary OHS legislation, Acts, standards and Codes of Practice are available on Site and are maintained throughout all projects.
