Parks and Open Spaces Director
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced leader to drive the future direction of our parks, gardens, recreational spaces, sports facilities, and cemeteries. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our parks are a feature of our towns, villages, and community enjoys vibrant recreational spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Planning: Drive the development of strategic plans to enhance and preserve our parks and open spaces.
* Council Interests: Ensure the best interests of the Council are maintained in the management of commercial businesses.
* Asset Management: Manage the Council's assets, including the purchase or sale of properties, while maintaining stakeholder interests.
Requirements:
* A current NSW Working with Children Check is required for this role.
